Hare, Civil Engineer The Improvement of Gabilan Creek 1906 A blue print for the improvement (channelization) of Gabilan Creek and its surrounding swamp lands from Carr Lake to confluence with Tembladero Slough near Castroville; includes most of the seven lakes.  Includes water elevations at the time and estimates of water elevations and channel elevations after construction, estimated acres to be reclaimed, as well as some annotations of marsh lands, tule swamps, willow groves, homes etc.
